Elements Magazine, September 2026

Back in July Olaf Sztaba, the editor of Elements Magazine, one of the top online magazines for landscape photography, contacted me and asked if I would be interested in writing a new article about my drone photography. I jumped at the chance.

This is the third time I’ve been featured in Elements Magazine, having written an article about autumn in Acadia National Park in 2021 and another short piece about an image I made in Acadia in 2024. I love flying a drone to record unique images of the landscape and it’s great to see my aerial images from Maine, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Illinois in a 13-page article featured alongside some of my favorite landscape photographers like Michael Kenna, Jack Dykinga and Steven Friedman in the current issue of the magazine.
