Autumn in Acadia 2025 Photo Workshop

October 14-19th

Registration is still open for the 2025 Images of Acadia landscape photography workshop, though it’s filling up. An annual tradition since 2018, we’ll spend five days together, rising early each day to (hopefully!) catch a spectacular sunrise, then spend the rest of the daylight hours seeking the best light and best colors we can find. Acadia is known as one of the most colorful and beautiful locations in the country for Fall foliage, and in nineteen years of photographing Acadia, I’ve never known it to disappoint.

Who is this workshop for? Well, I’ve had relative beginners as well as professional photographers join me in the past. But I would recommend that you be familiar with your camera and have some experience taking pictures. Most participants are keen amateurs who love landscape photography and being outdoors, but do it as a hobby and not a career. You don’t need a super-expensive camera, but you will need a D-SLR or mirrorless camera (but do bring your phones for capturing snapshots).

I’ll be available to pass on tips for better compositions, help you with your camera settings and lens choices and to answer any questions you might have. On at least one evening, or during a ‘rain delay,’ I’ll teach you Lightroom and show you the settings I use to get the most out of my raw images.

Interested in joining me? Click on the button below to find out more and request a registration form. If you have any questions about the workshop, feel free to email me personally at mike@imagesofacadia.com.
